Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful, sweet girl named Belle that found herself living on the streets of Houston with her boxer friend, Braxton.  Both were taken in by LSBR and both found loving forever homes!   Well friends, I wish I could say 'The End' but unfortunately for me, the story continues.

I've been in a loving home for the last three years but my master recently moved in with his girlfriend who has two small female dogs that I must admit, I don't like very much.  You know how, as humans, there are some people you are more drawn to than others?  Well, the same thing happens with dogs. I've been around other dogs, like my friend, Braxton, that I get along with fabulously!  I guess you say I can be a little choosey about my canine friends and I tend to get along better with males than females.  Oh, I should also say that I love to chase cats and squirrels so a home with no cats is a must!

I'm house broken and crate trained and I love to go for walks and car rides!  I love rawhide bones and most of all, I love my people!  I know there's a happy ending for me and I'm anxiously awaiting it!
