FORD

Ford is doing great and we do love him. It is so good to know that there are so many people in his life that love him and have nurtured him during the long months that he did not have a forever home. We are so grateful to all of you.

He comes to work with me every day and has a bed in my office where he camps out. If I leave the building to go next door for a few minutes, he is waiting for me by the door from which I exited J and on the days I am on-the-road, visiting our General Contractor offices, he rides with me and does fine – I’m never inside the offices for more than a few minutes, so he has been fine waiting on his blanket in the back seat.

We have left him at home by himself for several hours when we go to church, out to eat etc, and he does fine. He has a doggie door and uses it without difficulty. Although he sleeps in his crate at night (with the door open) he has other “beds” around the house that he uses depending upon which room my husband and I are in – he does like to stay close…

We will be away for a few days in a few weeks, and because he does not do well with other dogs, my son cannot keep him with their yellow lab. So… he is coming back to the Fritz for a few days while we are gone. I’m encouraged to know that people there will love on him while he visits and pray that he does not think he is being “sent back” again. If you see him while he is there, give him hug!

Hudson

We adopted Hudson a few years ago. He has been the greatest pet we have ever had! I have to say, he is spoiled rotten. He stays inside with his pillows and toys most of the time and goes outside just to use the bathroom or if we are out there to play with him. Hudson is addicted to attention, he loves to snuggle and have hugs. Hudson is great with the kids, visitors, and even our cats. His personality is so funny and loving. His grandparents take care of him if we have to go out of town and if it's possible, they spoil him even more. His daddy loves to teach him new tricks and it just shows how smart he is. The kids love to wrestle around with him and play fetch. Hudson is such an awesome dog!! We often get compliments that he is the best dog that people have ever been around. We love Hudson and thank Lone Star Boxer Rescue for letting us add him to our family!!!

The Gentry Family

Blossom (now Razzle)

...Both mamas say I’m a lot taller than I used to be, and that I’m kinda goofy and silly. They sure do laugh a lot when I throw my toys in the air and pounce on them. So I try to do that a lot. And they’ve started saying something about my wiggle butt coming out more? What the heck is that? I don’t know, but I do know I really love my breakfast and my dinner, and my biscuits and my cookies. I love to run and run around my backyard, and sometimes my mamas let me run around Mr. Ed’s and Miss Frances’ yard. Boy is that fun. Another thing I love to do is look out Mama Chrissy’s bedroom window for hours and hours so I can guard the house a lot better, but I can only do that when she’s home. And sometimes at night I get on the couch between my mamas and go to sleep. They like that.

So, I really like my new home, and I love my two mamas. They take very good care of me and I take very good care of them. I hope you and Chloe and all those other boxers are doing ok. I hope you can find homes for them that are as good as mine.

Hugs and kisses … Razzle Dazzle (formerly Blossom)

Gus
Gus

A little less than two years ago I adopted a male boxer from LSBR named Gus. Gus, being a young Boxer was hyperactive to say the least. We already had one boxer, Effie, and were a little concerned when we brought Gus home. Effie was growling and bearing her teeth at him, a bit unnerving. But they seem to have gotten well past that part. Anyway as you can by the attached picture, Gus and Effie are getting along well.

I can't imagine not having Gus around. He was the best addition to our family

Blair Fullerton

Frosty
Frosty

Since Frosty first walked (or stumbled) into our lives, we laugh daily. We use the term " he's just a puppy", he gets away with murder, in our house often. He is the most curious, eager and happy dog we have ever come across. We started by fostering Frosty and the day he jumped in our house he instantly became part of our family. He stole our hearts immediately and it feels as though he's been here forever. He thinks he is quite the lap dog and will leap around the house and sit in your lap as if he weighs 5 pounds, like his sister Chloe who is a Yorkie and his brother Heffie who is a Pomeranian. With Frosty being deaf, he wears his expressions on his face. He also sounds 100 percent like Chewbecca when he decided's to make sounds if he wants to be playful, curious or letting you know he isn't happy. He is the most expressive dog you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. We can't imagine our lives without him. .. Then we stumbled across Kaylee! Story to be continued !! Look for Kaylee's success story next !
