Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Introducung Dora!  Hello Houston.....Dora here.  Honestly, I’m a sad girl.  My owner passed away and I was taken to a shelter which, by the way, is a scary place!  It was loud and uncomfortable.....especially for someone used to being with her companion!  But things are looking up for me now that I’m in the LSBR program and in a foster home!  Just look at my shelter to foster home pic.....such relief!  

I’m an older gal....about 8 years old but still have a lot of life to live....as you can see from my newest pics!  I’m a sweet, petite little boxer girl, I enjoy the company of other dogs, I’m housebroken and looking for my new forever home.....won’t you consider taking me in?
