Lone Star Boxer Rescue is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need.

9/3/20 Update:  WOW.....what a difference!  I’m now in a great foster home and I am THRIVING!  Take a look at my ‘before’ pics!  My foster mom says that I’m house broken and crate trained....I don’t love going into my crate but will gladly go with the promise of treats!  I love peanut butter Kongs, elks antlers, snuggle time and poolside relaxation!  I love my foster boxer sister, Jenna.  We hit it off immediately!  I love people and I‘m a quick learner.  Right now I’m learning how to walk exceptionaly on a leash!

We welcome Rosemary to the LSBR family!  It’s obvious that life has not been easy for this sweet girl.  She has been suffering in the Houston heat with a terrible skin infection!  she just looks miserable!  She was found 7/21/20 abandoned at BARC Animal Shelter when they opened.  Worries be gone, little girl......welcome to the rest of your new life!

Rosemary is estimated to be somewhere between 2-3 years old.  In addition to her skin condition, she has several old injuries and is heartworms positive.  Yet despite all of this, she is a sweet girl!  Rosemary will be treated for her skin condition and heartworms and on the road to recovery soon!

More information will will be posted about Rosemary and her recovery.....stay tuned.
