I’m Nala, and I think I was named after the beautiful lioness in “The Lion King.” My name is African, and it means “successful” – and that’s what I hope my search for a new home will be! I live with my friend Kunu at our “grandmother’s” house – our mom and her daughter live there now, but we need to find new homes because they simply can’t take care of us anymore.

Let me tell you a little about myself: I was born on November 28, 2007, and I am a very sweet girl. I get along really well with other dogs and with children. I could be a lap dog given the opportunity! I am protective of my family and my home, but not aggressive. I love Kunu. It would be beyond wonderful if we were adopted together, but it’s more important that we both find good homes. I hope we’re both adopted soon!
