Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi darlings, I'm Ruby! Just like the precious stone, I'm a fine gem! I've been known to steal people's hearts upon meeting them. That's probably because I'm super sweet, calm, and a total cuddle bug! I like to play with other pups and roll on my back for belly rubs. I'm current on vaccinations, crate trained, and know basic commands. So please, take a minute and fill out an adoption application. Where it says "dogs of interest" put "RUBY!!!!" in big capital letters! I'm so excited to meet you and I can't wait to go home with my loving family. After all, who can say no to a jewel like me?!
