Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Joe needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

ADOPTION PENDING!

I'm approximately 5 years old and part boxer, part mastiff so needless to say, I'm one big hunk of sweetness!  My name is Joe and I'm approximately 5 years old.  I absolutely adore people and am craving a forever family to call my own!  I promise to love you and protect you forever!  I  do okay with other dogs but because of my protective nature, LSBR says that I would do best as an only dog with older kids that respect my space so I can have you all to myself!

My foster dad says that I am an awesome pup!  He reports that I'm well behaved, I don't bark, I don't chew anything but my toys and I love meeting new people!  He says that If you're looking for a big, lovable teddy bear of a canine, I'm your perfect match.

Peace, Love, & Boxer Kisses,

Joe
