Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

My name is Rox, and I am a very sad little girl right now. My "dad" is very ill and can no longer care for me. I've been kept in a crate many hours every day while everyone has been at the hospital, and they have felt so bad about it. So my family is looking for a new home for me. I'm really counting on LSBR to pull through for me and make this happen! I'm three years old, and I am so easy to get along with. I like being with adults, children, and other dogs. I've never been around cats, but I know they'd love me! Going for walks makes me so happy, as does riding in the car. I'm healthy and house and crate trained, so I'm pretty much the perfect package! The family that adopts me is going to do two wonderful things: 1) relieve the stress on my current family, because the last thing they need to do is worry about me; and 2) give me a chance to start a new life while bringing joy to theirs! I promise that Miss Rox will rock their world!
