Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Hi! My name is Tiger, and you will have no problem grabbing me by the tail, because I've got one! I'm a handsome brindle boxer/mastiff mix, and - yes, I'm a boy - I have the sweetest face! I'm no more than two years old, and very playful, but I promise I'm not going to go all hyper on you. I do quite well in a crate and I am house trained. The one thing I cannot do is play golf - at least not yet. But I sure like watching that other Tiger play on TV! I like other dogs, especially if they are introduced to me in a proper way. I am going to make some family an awesome pet, and I hope that happens really soon!
