Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

Learn more about the Boxer.

My name is Campbell. I'm a young girl who was found as a stray in emaciated condition. I've since put on some weight and muscle and am figuring out what it's like to be a loved pet. My foster parents say I'm a good girl and that I'm really smart and super sweet. I'm housebroken and crate trained (although, I stay in my crate less and less...just through the day when my folks are at work).

When I first got to my foster home, I didn't even know what it was like to have toys. Now I have tons of toys and 3 other pups to play with.  I do have lots of energy and am always willing to play. I really like the company of other dogs as well as kids but I do best with kids approximately 10 years and older.  I've never really had the opportunity to know a cat, but they look fun to chase.

I love my foster family! They can tell by all the boxer kisses and cuddles. I follow them around everywhere and when they sit down, I'm the first one in the lap. Good thing I'm a petite little girl! But more than anything else, I would really like to have a family to call my very own. Please consider adding me to yours!
