Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

Hi my name is Cambridge.  How could such a cute guy with a distinguished name end up here you ask? My previous adopters gave me up because I stank........nevermind that they didn't bath me!  Hello!!!!   
 
I'm a beautiful 6 year old boxer and I'm not deaf (in case you were wondering).  I am just a friendly guy who gets along with other dogs and is not that interested in cats.  My foster mom says I have a wonderful disposition....pretty much the perfect dog!  I get along great with her small children and I'm a very good listener.  My foster mom says that I'm such a good listener and she trusts me off leash.....even if squirrels pass me!!!  

I enjoy playing with my baseball (and only my baseball) and I love playing with the kids! My foster mom says that I'm not a big barker but will alert you to anything suspicious!  I've learned my routine and I'm happy to go into my crate when requested.  

I have to agree with my foster mom.....I AM the perfect dog!  I'm very grateful that LSBR has taken me in and recognize what a great guy I am.  I am hoping to find my forever home and someone to give lots of kisses to!
