Lone Star Boxer Rescue is the Houston Chapter of Austin Boxer Rescue, a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to the health and well-being of the boxer breed. LSBR/ABR is run and managed 100% by volunteers since 1999. Our main objective is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home boxers that come to us from many sources including local animal shelters, owner surrenders, and strays. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to allow us to save more dogs in need throughout the state of Texas.

ADOPTION PENDING!

Hi all.....Oakley here!  First things first, I'm a 'talker' which my foster mom says is quite cute! I talk first thing in the morning, when I see you're about to feed me, when my foster mom gets home from work.....you get the point!  I'm a happy, energetic 2 year old boy...very much still a puppy!

I just arrived in my foster home so I'm still getting acclimated.  My foster mom says that I'm getting used to my crate (treats are a dog's best friend) and I'm mostly potty trained...just getting the hang of how I need to tell everyone when I need to go out!  I haven't had much training but I'm making lots of progress in my foster home!  

I'm great around other dogs as well as kids!  I am a big, goofy boxer and, as a result, I play hard! I would do best in a home with another dog that doesn't mind a big, goofy playmate!  I love attention, toys and yes, I'm a cuddler too!

I'm craving a forever home of my own and I hope that you will check me out!
