LSBR's success is largely contingent on the number of foster homes we have available. The solution is simple - the more foster families we have, the more pups we can save. |
It's a sad reality, but the truth is that no matter how many dogs we pull into our program, there are always others in local animal control units that need our help, and need it fast. View some of the dogs that need our attention today, before their time is up. Meet T-Bone Howdy, y’all. I’m T-Bone (although I wish my name were T. Boone, as in Pickens, because then I would have all the money I needed to rescue every homeless animal in Texas)! But back to me – I am one handsome dude. Read more about T-Bone... IN NEED OF FOSTER CARE UNTIL I CAN BE ADOPTED. |
Meet Cleo Hi, there! I’m Cleo, and while I may not be quite as glamorous as the Queen of the Nile, I’m a pretty special young girl! I’m a cute boxer mix that is really smart and a very quick learner. I love people and will do almost anything to please you. I am so happy when kids pay attention to me, and I get along with other dogs. I do pretty well with cats, too! Read more about Cleo... We are getting an extraordinary number of emails and calls from those
of you wanting to adopt a dog and also from those needing help with
re-homing a dog or caring for a found dog. We are trying our best to
respond in a timely manner, however, LSBR is solely staffed by
volunteers and consequently we sometimes fall behind.
